An everyday object that welcomes introspection, the couch shelters the body in a state of stasis and regeneration. It is a space of reflective intimacy.
A man and a woman each inhabit one side. Two solitudes, protected and inventive, sheltered from the tumult of the world, at home.

Then, the encounter occurs— the poetic intrusion of one body into the other's universe.
And suddenly, the movement accelerates...

Inspired by Mon Cholet's essay Chez Soi, this piece explores the intersection between individual and collective space, its political ramifications: how do we share these spaces that shape our relationship to the world and others? At what point does this connection become a constraint, a sly game, or an adventure, tender and balanced?
