The Nursery
ACRO-CHOREOGRAPHIC RESEARCH GROUP
Initiator of the term choreographed circus, which she coined twenty years ago to define her work, Florence Caillon is one of the few single women at the head of a circus company. From her first aerial shows in public spaces to her current pieces, currently performed in indoor venues both in France and internationally, she strives to choreograph the circus vocabulary, developing a hybrid gesture nourished by the different principles of dance writing.
Today, she wishes to question once again her practice and this term of choreographed circus , to go further in this direction and to take stock of the evolution of choreographic practice within the circus movement. Circassians trained in dance movement remain a minority even if their number has grown and their visibility is better claimed.
It is in this dynamic that we are setting up regular meetings, in the form of LABORATORIES , which will be developed throughout the years 23/24/25, in different partner locations as well as in the rehearsal space of L'Eolienne.
Florence thus places research and experimentation at the heart of her project, and affirms on the one hand her desire to continue the development of her work around choreographed circus, but also to produce new material for future creations and transmit it to a group of performers who will accompany her in this process.
To this end, she is currently setting up an acro-choreographic research group - based on acro-dance and dynamic hand-to-hand - which will regularly immerse itself in her bodily materials and with which she will be able to invent new hybrid movements, new acrobatic paths .
United around the same material as a playground and experimentation ground, the researchers of this "nursery" will meet within the LABORATORIES , according to variable configurations, in order to practice the materials which constitute the foundations of the circus language of L'Eolienne : fragmented approach to acrobatic movement, softness, tremors, imbalance, impulses, fragilities, bodily states, instinctive energies, etc.

Marius Fouilland
Marius is from Auch, and started circus and dance at the age of 9. After a baccalaureate with a Circus Art option, he joined the Fratellini Academy . He joined the Eolienne in 2019, on the distribution of Petit Lac then Swan Lake. He set up his own company in 2022 (Cie Inéluctable) with a first creation Soi(e), which the Eolienne supports through informal mentoring.
Marius will take over the management of future laboratories.
Lucille Chalopin
First a high-level athlete in the French rhythmic gymnastics team until 2014, Lucille joined the ENACR/CNAC course with the 30th promotion. At the end of the CNAC tour, in 2019, she joined L'Eolienne for a revival of the solo Souffle then on the new creation Le Lac des Cygnes . At the same time, she is also working with the Kor company on her new creation Skotch.
Ancelin Dugue
Ancelin discovered babygym in Bolivia at the age of 6. Back in France, he joined the Fortiches circus school while practicing various sports activities and taking piano lessons until his BAC. At 18, he attended the Cours Florents in Montpellier, then managed to integrate the preparatory school of Amiens in acrobatics, developing at the same time his research in Acrostaff. In 2020, he joined the Fratellini Academy to perfect his acrodance and acrostaff skills. Ancelin joined the Eolienne and joined the cast of several shows ( Swan Lake, AuDelà ), while continuing to develop his art in Acrostaff.
Johanna Dalmon
Johanna began playing the violin at the age of 3 and played it for 9 years at the conservatory. At 16, she began teaching herself guitar and singing. Passionate about contemporary circus since 2016, she joined the Amiens circus school while pursuing studies in psychology. She completed two years of specialization in lifts, and added a year of dance to her studies at the Art Danse Académie in Toulouse. Johanna continues to teach dance through workshops in Amiens while exploring the arts and contemporary circus, notably by collaborating with Florence Caillon on various artistic creations (Swan Lake, AuDelà ).
Juan Cisneros
After starting the circus in Uruguay, he began his training in hand-to-hand with teachers from Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
Having come to France to train at the Lyon Circus School for two years, he trained in hand-to-hand and gradually developed his artistic language in greater depth. In 2018-2019, he did acrobatic work and hand balancing at the Salto circus school. He currently works with Florence Caillon and L'Eolienne (Swan Lake, DeNous).

Gabriel Dias
Originally from Portugal, Gabriel trained in 2012 at the Escola Profissional de Artes e oficios do Espetáculo in Lisbon, then at the Salto International Circus School as a hand-to-hand carrier. He then joined the ENACR in Rosny-sous-Bois , and worked for various companies (Enstock, Wirwar). He also teaches at the Ecole du Trapèze. He joined the Eolienne in 2023 for a role reprise in Lance-moi en l'air.
Théo Corre
Théo Corre discovered dance at the age of 8 in a school where he practiced capoeira, hip-hop, modern jazz and contemporary dance. He then joined the Brest Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. He is now a graduate of the Lomme Circus School 2023 (CRAC) as an acrobat and then in acrobatic lifts.
Maélie Palomo
Originally from Switzerland, Maélie graduated from the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC) in 2018, in acrobatic lifts with Hamza Benlabied and joined the Compagnie XY for the new creation "Möbius" in September 2018. Since 2022 she has been working with the Cirquons Flex company in Reunion Island on numerous artistic and social circus projects.
Naloëne Berneron
Naloëne joined Vitanim's professional circus arts training program in Grenoble, and obtained her Circus Arts Initiation Certificate in 2016. She specializes in aerial hoop, floor and cane acrobatics, and hand-to-hand, working for various companies (La Troupe au Carré, Cirque du Grand Lyon) and organizations (Opéra Bastille, Cabaret Les Folies Lyonnaises). She joined L'Eolienne as an acrobat on Attractions in 2023.
